These Terms govern your use of the CutIQ app and website. By using CutIQ, you agree to these Terms.
For App Store purchases and subscriptions, the Apple Standard EULA also applies. These Terms supplement Apple's EULA.
Eligibility
CutIQ is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 18, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
Acceptable Use
Use CutIQ for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only. Do not reverse-engineer, tamper with, or circumvent security or rate-limiting measures. Do not use AI features to impersonate real people without their consent or for any deceptive or harmful purpose.
AI-Generated Content
CutIQ uses AI to generate hair analysis results, hairstyle previews, routine recommendations, and chat responses. You should know:
- Not professional advice. AI output is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not medical, dermatological, or professional advice.
- May be inaccurate. AI models can produce incorrect or inconsistent results. Do not rely on scores, classifications, or suggestions as definitive.
- Consult a professional for concerns about hair loss, scalp conditions, or any medical issue.
- Images are approximations. Hairstyle previews may not accurately represent how a style would look in real life.
- Third-party processing. Your photos and messages are forwarded to third-party AI providers for processing. See our Privacy Policy.
- Your responsibility. You are responsible for how you use AI output. We are not liable for decisions made based on it.
Ownership
You retain ownership of your photos. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing the service, including forwarding to AI providers.
We do not claim ownership of AI-generated images. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. When saved to your photo library, generated images include a CutIQ watermark.
All other app content (UI, design, text, branding) is owned by CutIQ.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple. Pricing and available features may change over time.
Advertising and Measurement
CutIQ uses the TikTok Events SDK to measure the performance of advertising campaigns. TikTok may collect device identifiers, app install events, and subscription events for attribution purposes. You can opt out of tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt or in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings in the app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Availability
We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. AI providers, output quality, rate limits, and feature access may change.
Limitation of Liability
CutIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is lesser.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm others.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Virginia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
